T-Ball

Last night we had out last evening of T-Ball for the summer.  Paige has learned so much, and the coaches have done such a good job teaching the kids the basics.  She now knows which way to run, what all of the bases are called, what it means to be in the ready position, and how to hit the ball.  It has been fun learning some new things about our daughter in the process as well.

1.  If you put her in a "hot" spot she will work hard, be ready every time, and be at the top of her game.

2.  If you put her in a "not - so -hot" spot she will spends her time twirling, sitting, building sand castles, and talking.

3.  Paige likes people.  She takes time to meet, visit with, and measure (compare how much taller they are than her) every person that visits her base.

4.  She may become a coach.  Every time the coach yells something, she repeats it. - just in case the players didn't hear the first time.

5. You do something wrong, she'll either call you on it or let the coach know :)

6.  She's that kid that the coach has to always remind, "My name is Denise not teacher"  Yeah that kid! :)

7.  Now that Paige has a T-Ball coach, daddy's advice is irrelevant.  Two seperate worlds she lives in:  Daddy knows what he's talking about on the home front, but when a real coach is involved Daddy knows nothing :) 


T-Ball has been great and Paige ended excited to play next year!  That's the main point right?
