Dschaak Christmas

We went to Grand Forks to stay at the hotel to celebrate Christmas with mommy's siblings.  We stayed at a hotel that was a bit ify at first glance, but ended up being a great choice.  It was a place that we could let Ziggy celebrate with us, and it ended up being very empty, had a fun pool, and we were able to just unpack everything out in the courtyard area outside of our poolside rooms. 

I love this picture becuase of Parker...notice his pants are unbuttoned.  He was so unsure at this point of what to do first...presents...a pool...decisions :) We decided to start with presents.

 Notice the computer on the floor.  Grandma and Grandpa were skyped in since they didn't come back for the holidays. It wasn't ideal, but at least they got to join in  on a bit of the fun!

Tiff got a little spoiled by Chad...laptop... rice maker....clothes....ipod.....and she got him nothing :)  LOVE IT!

Then the swimming began.  This continued for a couple house before I could drag them out of the pool area with promises of playing with their new toys!

And the playing began....

This picture cracks me up. Look closely. Paige is playing her new DS.  Parker is playing games on my phone while watching a movie on the Kindle Fire.  What did parents do twenty years ago?

 The next morning we waited around for the pool to open again only to find out they were working on the roof and not opeing it that day.  Uncle Chad to the rescue...he scored us free passes to the "huge" waterpark in town from the manager for our troubles...SCORE! So off we went to the waterpark for the afternoon.

It was a great Christmas and the only thing missing was grandma and grandpa, but now we get to look forward to seeing them when baby D arrives in less than a month :)
