Gymnastics

Parker started gymnastics this week.....

 

He had a great time - Can't you tell :)

Actually he did have a lot of fun. 
This picture just happened to be taken right after he hit mommy,
and had to sit down for a time out during circle time.
We're having a bit of a problem with hitting and this is just part of the drill we've been going through - buts that's worth a post all of it's own.

So on to gymnastics...

 Although Parker didn't really want to take part in circle time activities,
he had a great time exploring the gym. 

 Mom was pretty surprised that he even participated in waiting in line to go through three center activities to get some stamps for doing a good job.
He looks like a natural gymnast don't you think :)

 Getting his stamps....after this first stamp session he was hooked.
It's all about the stamps at gymnastics!

Center stop number 2. 
Swinging on the bar and touching his toes to his nose.
He quickly realized this activity was a lot more fun if he'd just drop his hands as he raised his legs.
Then he'd fall onto the mat or be caught by the instructor.

Mommy came home exhausted, so I hope that means he had a fun time.
Paige started gymnastics again this week too, I'll try to get some pictures of her next week.
It gets a little tricky when I'm also trying to entertain a twenty month old at the same time.
