Our week....

It's been awhile.....

After getting back from vacation, it took awhile to get into the swing of things around here again.  The weather was cold and work was well...work.  After a week home, I finally felt that we were back in the swing of things. And then Corey got sick....really sick...influenza A....to be exact.  Really high fever, terrible chest cough, headache, and basically couldn't get out of bed.  He was confined to the bedroom for a couple days so that the germs wouldn't be passed to us, although because the three of us got the flu shot we were hoping our symptoms wouldn't be quite as severe if we did catch it.

It was a long week for everyone.  Corey is on day five of Tamiflu and things are starting to look up. He is doing a lot better, up and around the house for most of the day, but still tired and weak.  Not sure if he's going to be back to work tomorrow yet or not.  I suggested another couple days to regain his strength, but you know men :)

Anyway....we've been trying to keep busy so that we don't get too loud or bother daddy while hes sleeping.  I've also been paranoid at every cough that comes from the kids, worried that they have caught it. So we've been trying to rest and lay low as much as possible.

Here's some tings we've been doing to pass the time.

The kids have been really nice to each other lately, and they are really playing together nicely this weekend.  I know I'm jinxing myself by saying this, but it's so nice to see them playing superhero together instead of them screaming and crying because one has a toy the other wants.
