It's funny how fast time goes even when you're not doing much. This past week has been great at our house. Parker is doing so much better, and therefore so are the rest of us. A couple things have happened and were not really sure which ones are helping the most, but we are not questioning it - just enjoying it.
The chiropractor seems to be helping a lot with the gas problems that make him miserable. It's been quite an experience taking a baby to the chiropractor. The loud cracking of his back is not even explainable in words. But Parker doesn't even flinch and when he's done he is just limp like a noodle and takes a LONG nap. It obviously helps. We are starting to notice the gas episodes less and less so we give credit for that to his chiropractor.
Over a week ago he also go put on Zantac for "Silent Reflux." That has taken care of the screaming episodes he was having. Turns out that even though he we weren't seeing him spit up, it was worse. Coming up from very low in the digestive system, but then he would swallow it again. Lots of burn and acid in his throat. The medicine kicked in about a day after we started and it seems to be working.
So now...we have a normal baby to enjoy. He still has a hot temper, but at least we can usually figure out why he's upset now. We've learned two important lessons from him already #1 - His mouth wakes up about three minutes before he does. You better notice it and get a bottle ready or he will SCREAM!!! #2 Like his sister he has better things to do besides sleep so he fights it like a bear. He will wake himself up six times before he actually settles enough to take areal nap.
Paige is doing good too. She is such a good big sister. She is constantly wanting to help and attend to his needs. All he has to do is flinch and she shoves a bottle or nuk into his mouth. In her eyes that's the answer to everything :) She is having a great summer getting out and about with her friends lots. We have spent time swimming, at Dino-land, gymnastics, and Space aliens this last week. Our summer is almost over and were trying to make the most of it.
Here are some photos of our last couple weeks!

We're so glad you're doing better Parker. Nothing better than a happy baby to make a house feel good! Enjoy the last days of summer. I'm sure you're excited to see your friends at daycare Paige!
Glad you were able to find something that helped the little guy. Nothing is worse when your baby is screaming and nothing helps him. We had to take adi to the chiropracter and it also did miracles.
He is getting so big, I am glad that he is feeling better. Enjoy the last of summer.
