Well this post will be without pictures being my camera is on the outs. But I just wanted to document a couple things so that I wouldn't forget.
Parker came down with his first bug this weekend. Bad cough, very sad eyes, and everything else that goes with a cold. His coughing spells in the middle of the night are the worst part of it. He still tries his hardest to smile, but he is just not himself. Corey spent Friday at home with the kids (Paige also has a cold) and I'm home today. We took him into the clinic this morning just to check his lungs and ears, but the doctor sent us home with a diagnosis of RSV, but not bad enough for a nebulizer. That's good, but frustrating when you just want your baby to feel better. We did get a chance to see him on the scale again and he comes in at 23 pounds of slobber and drool :) Just hoping he feels better soon so him and mommy can get some sleep.
Thats was our weekend in a nutshell. We spent it at home going stir crazy. Paige ran a lemonade stand for a couple days so mommy and daddy are bloated from drinking too much lemonade. She made $6 (Chas bought a 25 cent glass for $6) and about 5 dollars worth of car wash coins (that's what mom and dad paid with.)
When we went to Walmart today to pick up some necessities she brought her purse to spend some of her hard earned money. She decided to buy a bag of Reeses Heart Treats. She paid for hers separate from mine, and was so excited when she handed the lady a dollar bill ($5) and got two dollar bills back. She just couldn't believe her luck :) She kept saying all the way home, "Mom, I'm so lucky. That nice lady gave me the treats AND more money. She really liked me." If only thats the way it worked! I'm sure she'll be just as excited when we let her spend her "whale" coins to wash the blue car this spring.
