Basketball

Paige started basketball at the "Basketball Academy" last weekend.  So by 8:00 am on Saturday mornings, we have to be in Fargo ready to practice.  Although she tells us that it's boring, she seems to be loving it. We have told her that it's fine if she doesn't love it, but she has to finish her session and then she can choose something else to try. I'm thinking her hesitation comes from the fact that she didn't know anyone in the class, so hopefully that subsides as she gets to know the kids in her class. Especially considering she looks like she is having a blast the entire 75 minutes of class.

The coaches are great, and she is already learning a lot - they work a  lot on the basics, like dribbling.  They play lots of fun games while practicing their skills, and spend a hour and 15 minutes playing hard.  I'm hoping that by the time her five week session is over, she decides that it isn't so boring and sticks with it.  Only time will tell :)
