Saturday

The next morning everyone was up bright and early.  We didn't have anything planned that day besides heading relaxing and exploring our resort - oh and making sure we could find the Bison game on a tv :) We stayed at Ron Jon Caribe Resort in Port Canaveral - which is about 4 miles from Cocoa Beach.  It was a large resort with lots for the kids to do; pool, water slide, lazy river, baby pool, mini golf, movie theater, kids gym, and game room.  The staff was great, the facilities were clean, and we were very happy with our week long stay.  Especially since it is there off season and it was practically EMPTY!

After everyone got up we decided to head down and see how far the ocean was from our hotel.  After an easy block-long walk we were face to face with the Atlantic Ocean.  It was a beautiful morning and everyone was excited to splash in the ocean!

Later we spent a few hours at the pool, watching the Bison game, and taking naps.

Then Paige and Parker left with Chas, Chad, and Tiffany for their night out.  

They went to the Worlds Largest McDonalds and a Pirate Dinner Theater!  Pretty sure they had a great time because the "orange pirate" was brought up in conversation several times during the week.  

Meanwhile Corey and I went out and ate this :)

It was a great first day - beautiful weather and lots of fun.  Stay tuned for more...
